World Heart Day will take place on 26 September 2010. The theme "Wellness in the Workplace" remains the same for 2010.
Building on last year’s successful campaign, the theme for this year will be focused on Workplace Wellness. Last year, we highlighted the importance of a healthy workplace and the steps that can be taken by employers and employees. This year, we want to take this one step further by targeting and engaging with companies in order for them to effectively implement the Workplace Wellness initiative. We will also be complementing this message with a strong focus around 10 years in heart health: both looking back at the progress that has been made in CVD medicine and public policy, as well as looking forward to future advances in heart health.
